The ABA at The Biggest Week. Come By and See Us!

This weekend is the first weekend of The Biggest Week in American Birding, and the ABA is very excited to be there! If you are going to be attending the festival in northwest Ohio, please let us know, and come by and visit our booth at Maumee Bay Lodge, the festival’s headquarters.

There will be a lot of fun things going on at the festival, and you can keep up with all the doings on the ABA’s social media channels. We’re on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.

And don’t forget, the ABA will be hosting an event Sunday night, May 7, based around the book Good Birders Still Don’t Wear White. A selection of birders whose essays are featured in the book will be there to talk about their passion for birds offer tips and advice based on their experiences. It will be moderated by Houghton Mifflin Harcourt editor Lisa White and ABA President Jeffrey Gordon. Afterwards, you can purchase the book, a portion of the proceeds of which go to the ABA, and have the essayists sign your copy!

There’s a lot going on at The Biggest Week this year. Come out and join us for an amazing opportunity to enjoy birds and birders! We can’t wait to see you there!
