Noah Strycker, Associate Editor of Birding magazine, is on a mission to observe, study, photograph, draw, and write about as many birds as possible, at home in Oregon and worldwide. Noah's bird photographs and articles have appeared in all major birding magazines, and his recent book, Among Penguins: A Bird Man in Antarctica (Oregon State University Press, 2011), chronicles his adventures with a quarter million Adélie Penguins on the world's windiest, coldest, driest, highest, least populated, and most remote continent.

See something here that you really like or find useful? Or something that you think is wrong or misguided? Leave a comment and let us all know. Just keep your comments respectful; that's the only requirement.
We welcome guest posts, too. Have an idea or tip or story you'd like to share? Contact blog manager Nate Swick at firstname.lastname@example.org.
