ABA Big Year 2016 Membership Contest March Update

contestlogolgWe’d like to extend a big thank you to all of you who are taking part in the ABA’s Big Year membership contest and helping our organization grow. In the 2015 ABA Survey, a whopping 82% of our member respondents reported that they were likely to recommend membership to friends and colleagues.

This is a great way to help the organization. With your help, we can reach a wider range of birders. A larger membership and lower marketing costs, both of which are a result of your help, means more money can go directly into supporting and expanding our programs! Many ABA sponsors have jumped in to help us out and have put up fantastic prizes for those of you who bring new members into our organization. We are still in the early stages of this year-long contest, so the odds of winning these prizes are really, really good!

Big-Year-Tours-LogoOur prize sponsor for March is Wildside Nature Tours, and they are offering one lucky winner a spot on one of their Big Year Tours with Greg Miller of “The Big Year” movie fame! For each friend you bring into the ABA, using this membership form, during the month of March, you will receive one ticket into the drawing for this trip. The cost to register for one of these tours is $1,750, but our ABA recruiter will attend FREE of charge!

In February, our prize sponsor Eagle Optics offered a Ranger ED 8×42 binocular. ABA member Tracy Wohl of Santa Fe, NM was our winning recruiter. Congratulations, Tracy!
