We are asking that you join us in making an investment in the future of birding.
We need your help to continue and expand the excellent care and mentoring the American Birding Association provides to the next generation of birders through our ABA Young Birder Programs.
As birders, we see firsthand the extraordinary lengths birds go to to ensure the success of future generations. Dangerous migrations, daring battles with nest predators, long days and often nights foraging for the proper foods – the tireless dedication of birds to their young is absolutely inspiring.
But all this devotion has a very pragmatic underpinning. In evolutionary terms, it pays off. A little extra care and attention now means real dividends far, far into the future.

The ABA’s Young Birder of the Year Contest has been a showcase for young birder’s art, and an opportunity for them to learn from some of the finest bird artists in the world.
The ABA, through its Young Birder of the Year mentoring program, its Young Birder Camps, and its plentiful safe, friendly, online Young Birder resources, is doing the work today to help grow an army of support for birding and bird conservation for tomorrow and for many years into the future.
Please, join us now in giving what you are able to help make the Summer of 2017 a great one for all birders, especially those who will lead us into our future.
Good birding,
Jeffrey A. Gordon, President
American Birding
